À nos chères

/ Dance · young audience · 12 - 15 yo

À NOS CHÈRES — a visceral, rhythmic dive into the raw emotions of youth, where emancipation emerges through the body and its transformations.

In recent years, we’ve witnessed a dual movement: the liberation of voices through #MeToo, alongside a surge of uninhibited sexism fueled by the rise of the far right and growing support for masculinist ideologies. Caught between conflicting expectations, persistent stereotypes, and the need to imagine new narratives, adolescence stands as a pivotal moment—fraught with tension, yet full of possibility.

Created for audiences aged 12 to 15, the piece explores that turning point when everything begins to shift: bodies change, emotions spill over, and relationships are redefined. It also unfolds as a двой dedication—to our dearest ones, the lineage of women past, present, and future, and to our flesh, marked, violated, and silenced. Here, the body becomes the driving force of the performance: a site of memory, a political landscape, a field of sensation, and a powerful tool for self-liberation.

Through invented rituals, acts of defiance, and unexpected alliances, À NOS CHÈRES creates a space to experiment with new ways of being—both individually and together. On stage, movement and dance challenge imposed roles, invite disruption, and encourage taking up space, imagining freer, more equal, and more supportive relationships.

At the heart of adolescence, the piece gently urges us to take the road less traveled—to embrace reinvention, and to make love itself an act of resistance.

Together, we will dance our sorrows until they transform into joy through the power of our bodies—defiant, alive, and fully present.
