Héloïse Ravet is a stage director based in Brussels. After studying philosophy at Lyon 3 Université Jean Moulin, she entered the INSAS directing department in 2016. She graduated in September 2020 with Grande Distinction. In September 2020, following the presentation of her end-of-studies project Outrage pour bonne fortune, Théâtre de la Balsamine offered her a revival of the short form in June 2021. In February 2022, she presented, as part of the XS du Théâtre des Tanneurs, a first stage of work around the figure of Elvis Presley entitled Larrons en Baskets Bleues. She created her company, Saintes Patronnes, in June 2023. In autumn 2022, she staged her first full-length production, Outrage pour Bonne Fortune, at Théâtre Varia. It was revived in April 2023 at Théâtre de Liège as part of the Festival Emulation. For the 2023–2024 season, she created Oedipüs, by Maja Zade, in the main auditorium of Théâtre de Liège, a contemporary and feminist rewriting of the myth of Oedipus. Oedipüs will tour in autumn 2026 at Théâtre Varia, at Le Manège de Mons, and at Théâtre Vilar. She created, in winter 2025, the production Larrons en Baskets Bleues, which was performed at Théâtre de Liège and at the CDN of Thionville in its version dedicated to non-dedicated venues. In spring 2026, Les Larrons en Baskets Bleues will be performed in its stage version at Studio Varia and at Kinneksbond, in Luxembourg. At the beginning of the 2025 season, she began her research work on Épuiser les Soleils and presented a stage of work at the festival XS du Théâtre les Tanneurs 2025. Alongside her work as a stage director, Héloïse Ravet develops dramaturgical support for various companies, including street theatre companies such as Les vrais Majors for their production Elephant in spring 2024, or La Pigeonnière for the production Apparitions in spring 2026, but also for artists such as Aloula Wattel for the production Gènes at the beginning of the 2026 season. In addition, Héloïse Ravet directs the graduation project of the Masters Atelier of the Royal Conservatory of Mons, and stages Richard III under the tent of Les Nouveaux Disparus in Schaerbeek (June 2025). In spring 2025, Léa Quinsac commissioned her to write her project La Glorieuse Procession des Fausses et Tristes Nonnes, which will be performed at the beginning of the 2026 season at Théâtre Varia. Finally, she co-created with Zoé Lejeune and Lennert Vandenbroeck Le Festival de Salza in 2023, where each summer she stages a classic from the repertoire outdoors (Roméo et Juliette 2023, Ivanov 2024, La Double Inconstance 2025, Les Fables de La Fontaine 2026). The project aims to highlight the link between culture and agriculture and always offers a performance followed by a banquet. Since January 2021, she has been supported and accompanied in her projects by the performing arts development office BLOOM Project.
